Agentic Environments & Automation

Create controlled environments where agents can use tools, respond to events, and collaborate with people.

The opportunity

A working environment for your digital workforce.

Agents need a place to run, the right tools, and clear rules for operating. We establish the environment around your agents: identities, isolated runtimes, approved integrations, schedules, event triggers, and a clear route back to a person when needed.

From scope to system

What we build with you.

A focused implementation, shaped around your systems, data, and operating requirements.

01

Runtime & workspace setup

Configure isolated execution environments, workspace persistence, resource limits, and lifecycle management for the tasks your agents perform.

02

Tools, identity & credentials

Connect approved tools and MCP servers. Provision scoped identities and manage credentials without placing secrets in prompts or shared memory.

03

Schedules & event triggers

Connect scheduled jobs, queues, and application events to the agent workflow, with concurrency limits, deduplication, and cancellation.

04

Operations & handover

Set up activity visibility, review queues, incident procedures, and operator documentation so your team can supervise the environment.

An example in practice

An operations agent that prepares the next day’s work.

An illustrative scheduled agent checks approved business systems, identifies incomplete requests, and drafts a prioritised work queue. Team members review proposed changes before execution.

Define success early

Measure the work.
Improve the outcome.

We agree on relevant baselines and acceptance criteria before implementation. Depending on your scope, these may include:

  • Scheduled task completion
  • Resource and concurrency limits
  • Auditability of agent actions
  • Operator intervention and recovery

Have something more specific in mind?

Talk it through with us
How is an environment different from an agent harness?

The harness manages how an agent reasons and executes a task. The environment supplies the runtime, identities, tools, storage, and operational systems in which that harness runs.

Can agents run on a schedule or react to events?

Yes. We can use schedules, webhooks, queues, or other supported triggers. The design includes duplicate handling and limits so repeated events do not cause unintended actions.

Can we pause or disable an agent?

Operational controls should include pausing new work, cancelling where supported, and revoking tool access. We define these controls and their limits as part of the environment design.
